Let’s do some art! This project will be focused on self-esteem, something we all can use a tune-up on every once in awhile, right? Domestic violence can really tear your spirit down, let’s build some community and work on building it back up.
Survivors of intimate partner abuse, their friends and family are welcome!
This is a great addition to our current Monday morning drop-in support groups, and/or a good option for folks who speak with color, pictures, or whatever art you are about.
Facilitator is English speaking but Spanish speakers are welcome–art is our shared language! Let’s try this out together.
No registration required, just come with good intentions, flexibility, creativity and be ready to collage it out!

START DATE: Wednesday, January 21st. The group will meet every Wednesday until March 25th.
TIME: 6:00-7:30pm

This group uses art projects for expression and as a “healing tool”. There will be an art project each week along with other activities such as guided meditations, breathing exercises, etc. We utilize workshops created by A Window Between Worlds.
Healing Hearts With Art was designed for anyone who is impacted by domestic violence. Whether you have survived abuse or love someone who has, you are welcome to attend.
There will be group agreements that we will review at the beginning of each group.
Questions? Contact Shelley at 415-864-4777, extension 309. This is a voicemail number, so she will return your call within a few days.
There is a suggested donation of $2 to $20 for each group. You are invited to donate if you wish.
If you have any concerns about your safety in attending the group, we are happy to talk with you more about that and assist with any safety planning you might want, just call our 24 hour Support Line at 415-864-4722.
